Stephen Arthur Gindhart

Stephen Arthur Gindhart, 71, Daleville, passed away Thursday afternoon, July 22, 2021, at his home. He was born Wednesday, March 22, 1950, in Muncie, the son of Arthur and Mary Alice (Moore) Gindhart. Stephen was a pro NRA advocate as well as an avid outdoorsman and loved to go hunting and fishing. He worked as a truck driver for over fifteen years. Survivors include his mother, Mary Alice Anderson; son, Tim (wife, Rebekah) Reynolds; two daughters, Michele Gindhart Myers, and Melissa “Lissy” (husband, Jim) Newman; brother, Jeffrey Louis Gindhart; and three grandchildren, Adeline Mary Reynolds, Jamie Newman, and Zane Newman. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur Gindhart; his wife, Kathryn Jean Gindhart, who passed away September 9, 1996; one brother, Gregory Gindhart; and a sister, Deborah Gindhart. A graveside service for Stephen, and his wife, Kathryn will be held at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, August 12, 2021, at Elm Ridge Memorial Park with Marty Ballard officiating. Burial will follow the services.
