Lisa Jean Adams

Lisa J. Adams, 66, passed away on Wednesday, August 21, 2024, after a courageous battle with COPD. Lisa was born in Muncie, Indiana on November 6, 1957, to Mary Ellis and Fred Bicknell. She was a 1976 graduate of Southside High School, where she was a cheerleader. She married Billy Adams on June 25, 1983. She worked at Marsh Supermarket for thirty eight years. Lisa truly lived life to its fullest and loved to read, travel to the beach, dance with her husband and spend time with her granddaughters. She enjoyed Christmastime and was known to spoil her granddaughters. Lisa is survived by her loving husband and best friend of forty six years, Billy Adams; daughters, Abigail Brownell (Randy) and Emily Adams (Britt); granddaughters, Bayleigh Epperson, Harper and Tessa Brownell; sisters, Susie Moore and Molly Clevenger; as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. Lisa was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Marshall; her father, Fred Bicknell; and her sister, Paula Garrett. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, August 30, 2024, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304 with Pastor Larry Webb officiating. Entombment will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park Mausoleum. Family and friends may call from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday and after 12:00 p.m. Friday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
