Brenda was known for her gentleness, love, and faithfulness. She would do whatever she could to help others, and more than anything she wanted to live her life honoring God. Brenda will be missed by all who knew and loved her, but we rejoice that she is with Jesus, where there are no more sorrow, pain, or struggles.
For a while, Brenda attended the Indiana School for the Blind. Over the years, Brenda worked at Bosma Enterprises, the Fraternal Order of Police, and the Salvation Army.
Brenda is survived by her husband Michael; her daughter Brandie Dobbs; 6 grandchildren, Brandon Dobbs, Sierra Dobbs, Alexis Gilmer, Triston Washington, Mo'Zay, and Mo'Nay (twins); and 2 great-grandchildren, Nakyla Carr and Matthias Brown.
A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Burial will be at Elm Ridge Memorial Park. Elm Ridge Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
To honor Brenda's life, donations may be made to the Salvation Army (765-289-7924). People may also honor Brenda by taking a moment to consider the grace and forgiveness God gives through Jesus and the cross to anyone who accepts it.
Fond memories and expressions of sympathy may be left at www.elmridgefuneralhome.com for the Piper family.
