Wayne was born in South Bend, Indiana to parents Ernest and Bernice Forrester on December 06, 1938. He remained a resident in Indiana until he turned 18 and joined the Air Force. His time in the service took him across the world but he ultimately settled in Louisiana. He was happily married to Joyce Parker for 57 years.
Wayne enjoyed the outdoors, loved to fish alongside his wife at Toledo Bend, and enjoyed building race cars and hot rods. He was known as the most southern transplant from the north, however, he did not enjoy rice as a staple in his diet. Wayne was a family man; it was of the utmost importance to him that time was made to spend with them.
Wayne is welcomed into heaven by his wife, Joyce Parker Forrester; parents, and brothers, Dan Forrester and Jerry Forrester.
His memory will be cherished by his sons, Barry, Mark, and Kent Forrester; sister-in-law, Betty Fleury; 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, and a host of friends who will miss him.
