Mickey was born in Lake Charles, LA, to parents William and Eva Sullivan on September 09, 1937. He graduated from LaGrange High School and worked as an operator at Olin Chemical and Arcadian. He met his wife Carol Granger and they were married for 58 years. He served in the National Guard for 8 years.
Mickey was known to be a peacemaker within his family and loved to preach the word of the Lord. Mickey loved and lived for the Lord. He was a family man and was the best husband, father, paw-paw, and great-grandfather. He was loved by anyone who met him.
He liked to garden, cook, barbeque, woodwork, camping, traveling to small towns, and raising farm animals; above all he loved attending church.
Those who have predeceased him are his parents, brothers, Edward Sullivan, Leonard Sullivan, and James Sullivan; and sister, Dorothy George.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years, Carol Ann Grace Granger Sullivan; daughter, Rebecca Stout(Ted), and Monique Brunson(Tim); son, Damain Sullivan(Trina); grandsons, Brandon P. Martin, Jared W. Martin(Nichole), and Ricky Stout(Alisha); great-grandchildren, Brantly and Brody Martin, Heidi, Daltin, Maggie, and Jesse Stout; and brother, Melvin Sullivan.
The family would like to invite friends to Hixson Moss Bluff for visitation Saturday, May 27, 2023, beginning at 10:00 am until the time of service at 1:00 pm.
A graveside service will follow held at New Ritchie Cemetery in Moss Bluff, LA.
