Joseph Soileau

He was a U. S. Army Veteran. He was a loving father, grandfather and an avid outdoorsman. He enjoyed duck and deer hunting and was one of the best cajun cooks around.

He is survived by his sons, Latt Soileau and wife Pippa of Moss Bluff; Josh Soileau and wife Jessica of Rochester, NY.; daughter, Brandi Soileau of Lafayette; brothers, James Soileau of St. Francisville; Bobby Soileau and wife Ina of Ville Platte and grandchildren, Garrett, Emmeline, Delanie and Annalise. He is preceded in death by his parents and grandson Nathan Joseph Soileau.

His Funeral Mass will be Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Theodore Catholic Church. Monsignor Charles Dubois will officiate. Visitation will be Monday, January 16, 2012 at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., with a Rosary to be said at 6:00 p.m. and resume Tuesday from 8:00 a.m. until service.
