Elizabeth Marie Robb, aged 90, passed away on March 7, 2016 in Olympia, Washington at Providence St. Peter Hospital. She was born in Red Lake Falls, Minnesota on June 12, 1925, to Albert J. and Alma M. Fournier.
Elizabeth married Maurice “Mike” Robb on January 8, 1947 in Yakima, Washington. They came to Lewis County in 1952, and were blessed with three children; Sharon, Theresa, and Mark “Steve.”
Ms. Robb enjoyed living in the mountains and watching the herds of elk pass through her yard, but especially loved visits from her children and grandchildren. Her hobbies included gardening, playing Bingo, and writing poetry.
She retired from the Packwood Forest Service in 1987 after 15 years of employment as a Timber Clerk, and was active in many community organizations; including the Packwood Improvement Club, White Pass Scholarship Committee and PTA, the Garden Club, Packwood Senior Citizens Club, Packwood-on-the- March, and St. Mary’s Guild.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her Husband, Mike, in 1986; and Daughter, Theresa Hostler, in 1995. She is survived by Son, Mark “Steve” Robb of Olympia, Washington; and daughter Sharon Evans of McKenna, Washington; six Grandchildren; and 10 Great Grandchildren.
To honor Elizabeth’s life, visitation may be made between 12:00 and 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 17th, 2016, at the Packwood Community Center, located at 12935 US Hwy 12 in Packwood.
A funeral service is scheduled to begin at 1:00 PM, also on Thursday, at the Packwood Community Center, with a potluck reception following. Interment will take place at Packwood Evergreen Cemetery. Services are under the care of Brown Mortuary Service of Morton.
