Thomas "Tim" Tilman Strange

Thomas Tilman “Tim” Strange, age 81, of Russellville, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 16, 2019 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare. Tim served in the United States Air Force and was a member of Fairview Baptist Church. He never let anyone leave without having prayer. Preceding him in death was his father, Clifford Strange; mother, Delia Gulley Strange Stroud; stepdad, Tommy Stroud; sister, Margarette Thompson; and brothers, Shelby Stroud and Steve Stroud.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Stansberry Winstead Strange; daughters, Debbie Hill of Whitesburg, Sheila Noe of Morristown, Teresa Wheeler of Greeneville, Nikki Strange and Jennifer Broyles of Midway; son, Thomas Tilman (Mary Beth) Strange Jr. of Morristown; stepson, Richard (Tammy) Winstead of Mohawk; sister, Mary Ellen Nichols of Russellville; brothers, Carroll Stroud of Seattle, Washington and Johnny Stroud of Mohawk; 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and three on the way; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home on Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Dan Armstrong and Rev. Dannie Bell officiating. Family and friends will meet in Fairview Church Cemetery on Monday morning at 9:45 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. graveside service. VFW Post #5266 will provide military honors.
