Shannon Dale Smith, age 37 of Rutledge, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Blount Memorial Hospital. He was of the Baptist Faith. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents; Worley and Eva Smith and Maternal grandparents; John and Ruda McGoldrick. He is survived by his parents; Jimmie and Gale Smith of Rutledge, several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at 7:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home with the Rev. Randy Beeler and Rev. R.T. Haney officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, October 17, 2012 in Hamblen Memory Gardens for a 11:00 a.m. graveside service.
