Linda loved and rescued many dogs throughout her life. She enjoyed traveling, lake life, dining out, and taking trips to Cherokee.
She was kind hearted, loyal and a generous soul. Traveling, caring for her dogs, boating on Cherokee Lake, steak dinners and spending time with her friends and family were some of her greatest loves.
Linda enjoyed a career in customer service and sales. Her time at Rite Industries, allowed her to make many friends as she traveled throughout East Tennessee and Southwest Virginia.
She had a heart for animals and rescued many dogs throughout her life. So much so, she requested, in lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Noah’s Arc Animal Rescue in Morristown.
Linda was preceded in death by her husband: Kenneth Mays; her mother: Dorothy Bible Luster; and her father: Fred H. Luster.
She is survived by her brother: Dr. Fred H. (Anita) Luster Jr.; a niece: Taylor Luster (Dylan) Landis; and a nephew: Kyle Luster, all of Texas and Indiana. She is also survived by one fur-baby: Minnie, who was a loving, and protective companion. Also surviving are special running buddies: Jo Gronewald, and Judy Myers; loving friends and caregivers: Lynn and Joyce Callen; and many special cousins and friends, which are too numerous to name.
A graveside service commemorating her life will be Dec. 21 at 2 p.m. at Hamblen Memory Gardens & Mausoleum, 5421 E. Andrew Johnson Hwy. Morristown.
