Lester Guy Turner, age 88, of Russellville, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at Lakeway Regional Hospital. He was preceded in death by his father, William M. Turner; and mother, Nora Smith Turner. Survivors include his wife of 68 years, Betty Turner; son and daughter-in-law, Terry and LaDonna Turner; sister, Inez Fann; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends on Saturday, August 27 from 5 – 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Richard Long officiating. Family and friends will meet at 12:45 p.m. on Sunday in Hamblen Memory Gardens for a 1:00 p.m. graveside service. Services are under the direction of Stubblefield Funeral Home.
