Johnny Mullins

With heavy hearts and a great sadness and joy, Johnny Fay Mullins, 73 of Morristown, TN ,took ahold of the Lord's hand and was guided home on Monday, October 7, 2024, peacefully from his home, surrounded by his family.

He was a member of Lear Seating Corp. and was employed doing many different jobs for 40 years. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and be sorely missed.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents: Rev. Lloyd and Elsie Mullins, brothers: Ralph, Ray, Junior, Dwayne and Michael Mullins; sisters: Bobbie Day, Ruby Olson, Shirley Day and Denise Seal.

He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Janie; son: Derrick (Donna) Mullins; grandchildren: Heather (Jayce) Hazelwood-Jones and Christian (Rose) Mullins-Mathis. Great grandchildren: Kameron Isaiah Evans and Khloe Dior Hazelwood. Brothers: Lester, Paul, and Dennis Mullins as well as a multitude of nieces and nephews.

The family of Johnny Mullins would like to express heartfelt appreciation for the Morristown branch of Amedisys Hospice, especially, Victoria, Dina dn Nichole, for the unconditional and remarkable care given to him.

The family will receive family and friends from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM, Thursday, October 10, 2024 at Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow with Rev. Truman Coffee and Rev. Jason Lempka officiating. Graveside services will be the following morning, Friday. October 11, 2024 at 11:00 AM in Hamblen Memory Gardens.
