He was a member of Morningside Baptist Church. He proudly served in the US Army and could always be seen wearing his veterans cap.
Preceding him in death was his beloved wife, Delores; mother, Aileen Saylor; father, Oscar Wells; daughter, Lorie Collins; brothers: Jeff Seals, Mike Seals, and George Seals; sisters, Diane Ayers and Delaine Brady.
He is survived by his son, Rusty Collins; grandchildren, Tyler (Chelsea) Collins, Kandace Collins and Sebastian Collins; great grandchildren, Hudson Collins and Caroline Collins; brothers, Randy (Kathy) Wells, Michael Wells, Jeffrey (Tammy) Wells, Steve Seals, Larry (Victoria) Seals, Robert (Teresa) Saylor, Scottie (Ann) Seals, Darell (Amy) Saylor; sisters, Geneva (Steve) Hold and Patty (Hector) Vega. Special friend, Penny Gibson.

Visitation will be Tuesday, April 9, 2024 from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Stubblefield Funeral Home.
Family and friends will meet at 10:45 am on Wednesday, April 10, 2024 at Hamblen Memory Gardens for an 11:00 am graveside service. Rev. Ross Woody officiating.
