Donald H Harbin, age 80, went peacefully to his Heavenly home on Thursday, November 5, 2020. He served in the Navy in his younger years and worked at Enka for more than 10 years. He was very active in the softball community, known as Booger, as a longtime umpire.
He was preceded in death by his loving mother, Jessie “Babaw” Drake.
Survivors include his three loving daughters, Donna (David) Johnson, Kelly (William) Sexton and Angela Skeen; grandchildren, Boddy, Ashley, Randa, Chad and Tabitha; great-grandchildren, Brayden, Jessica, Deegan, Hunter, Hayden, Lindsey, Jeremiah, Reyland, Blake, Savannah and McKenzie; sister, Bobbie “Cissy” (Terry) Holt; and brother, Randy Drake.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, November 7, 2020 from 12:00-6:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at 10:45 a.m. for a 11:00 a.m. graveside service with Paul Chapman officiating. VFW Post #5266 will provide military honors.
