I miss you so much grandpa.. It's just not right without you here. I wish all this was just a bad dream and I could wake up and hear you laughing again. I love you so much.

RIP grandpa, we know you were a fighter, you can only stay strong for so long. I'll always remember this past summer when you got out of your chair without any help just to take a look at me & my car in the yard. I love you :/ I'm sorry I couldn't be there more for you when you really needed people in your life. You truly will be missed always. :(

I've only been around Charlie  and most of the family a few times.  But without a doubt I can say that all I have learned and seen for myself showed me that he was one of the hardest working and most dedicated people I have met.  My condolences and respect to him and the family.  I seen first hand that you guys have a love and respect for him you don't see often.

It has been an honor knowing you for the last 20 years !  You always treated me like a member of your family and your passing has left a big hole in my heart that will never be filled !

I loved and respected you like a father, you may be gone but you will never be forgotten !!

Knowing only your daughter with email and how wounderful she is means her parents had to be wounderful to pass it on to her.  I am so sorry at your loss but what a joy in heaven!  Bless you all.

I never met Mr.Bud personally; but through his Sister and nephews that I have known for nearly 20 years and from his Daughter Shirl by being an e-mail

Charlie, I wish I could find words to help ease the pain I know you feel. While time will lessen the pain, the ache will always be there. We are selfish people and only want our suffering to lessen and don't consider the suffering our loved ones have endured before finally passing on. Know that there are family and friends to lean on during these times. No matter how much it seems true you are not alone. Uncle Charlie you sure were one of a kind.  I can remember you laughing and carrying on from the time I was young.  I remember how much you loved your kids.  And when I came and stayed with you and Aunt Shirley in Maryland for a short stay, you treated me just like one of your own. Dad, I have so much to say but so few words to express myself. You are my hero and perfect role model. My love for you is that which only a son can understand. I tried to walk in your footsteps but they are way too big for me. I've tried to love like you but my heart doesn't have the capacity of yours. I wanted desperately to be the great father that you are, but I've failed terribly. If I could only be half the man you  were, I'd be overwhelmed with pride, but I'm not. It wasn't meant for me to have your greatness in life, it was only meant that I would recognize yours and enjoy the privilege of being your son.  You are the best man I've ever known, and ever will know.  I love you so very much, and I thank you for being my Father.  My heart is heavy now as tears pour steadily from my eyes. It seems my sadness from your passing knows no limits today.  I wish that I could trade places with you, so that you could go on loving life and being here with the rest of our family.  Dad, I wish I could have told you how very much you mean to me before you passed, but no such words exist. I wish I could just wake up from this miserable nightmare and find that I'm just a 10 year old boy who was having a very bad dream.

Dad, I love you with all of my heart, and I'll think of you many times each day for the rest of my life.  You live on in every fiber of my being and I thank God for that!  I've heard from everyone that you are in a better place now, but my selfishness wants you here with me.  I don't know how to fill the void left by your absence and I know I never will.

Grandpa,
Words can't explain how much I miss you. You were the best grandpa anybody could ever hope to have, I was truly blessed to have you in my life. I'm so sorry I wasn't around more and for all the heart ache I caused in the past. I wish you could see how I've changed and grown up, I always wanted to make you proud. I also wish you could've gotten to know my husband Jeremy more, I know you would've loved him. It doesn't seem real that you're gone, it just seems like a horrible nightmare I can't wake up from.
