Carl Fox

Carl Fox, age 95, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 8, 2010 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was a member of Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry and Rebecca Sexton Fox; brothers, Jim, Inman, Clyde, and Sam Fox; sisters, Verna Fox, Lena Richards, Sally Brady, and Stella Windom; granddaughter, Tina Harmon; great-granddaughter, Miranda Hubbard; daughter-in-law, Judy Fox; and son-in-law, Jimmy Epps. He is survived by his wife of 66 years, Jessie Pearl Fox; sons, Sanford and Dale Fox of Morristown; daughters, Janice (Brownie) Cody of Cosby, Wanda Faye Epps of Russellville, Mary Helen “Bobbie” (Eddie) Epps of Morristown, Pamela (Tim) Standifer of Morristown, and Jennifer (Mitchell) Fox of Morristown; grandchildren, Robert Cody Jr, James Cody, Brad Cody, James Wayne Epps, Rhonda Epps, Bryan Epps, Becky Lane, Kim Musick, Rodney Fox, Adam Padgett, and Kyle Standifer; 17 great-grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Church on Friday, March 12 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Lynn Porter and Rev. Sherman McGinnis officiating. He will lie in state for 30 minutes prior to the services. Interment will follow in the Bear Creek Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 – 8:00 p.m. on Thursday evening at the funeral home. Arrangements are by Stubblefield Funeral Home.
