Sophia Huffman

She was born in Burke Co., North Carolina to the late Charles McDowell Whisenant and Mary Jordan Whisenant.

In addition to her parents, he is preceded in death by her husband; Thomas Eugene Huffman.

Those left to cherish his memory are her children; David Huffman (Morganton, NC), Charles T. Huffman (Granite Falls, NC), Wanda Grant and husband Jerry (Jena, LA), sister; Nettie Wilson(Morganton, NC), grandchild; Justin Grant and wife Megan (Jonesville, LA), great grandchild; Sunni Grant (Jonesville, LA), cousins; Michael Cash (Mars Hill, NC), Patrick Cash and wife Jamie and their children; Finn, Kendall, Ethan (Greenville, NC), niece; Beverly Cash (Taylorsville, NC) along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A Graveside Service will be held on Sunday, August 25, 2019 at 11:00am with Chaplin Ken Baker from Burke Hospice officiating. A receiving of friends will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Kirksey Funeral Home on Saturday, August 24, 2019.
