Robert "Bob" Paul Brown

Robert "Bob" Paul Brown, age 74, of Morganton, passed away peacefully on Monday, July 29, 2024 while in the care of UNC Health Blue Ridge Morganton (Grace Hospital). Robert was born to the late Charles Brown and Elizabeth Scheiffer Brown while they served in the military in Panama Canal Zone on May 28, 1950.

Bob will be remembered as an honorable family man with a great sense of humor. He was a big teddy bear of a biker with a heart of gold. Bob attended State College in New Mexico. He served his country honorably in the United States Coast Guard. Bob's work history includes Postal Carrier, Florida Dept. of Transportation, and Florida Education System. He was retired at the time of his passing. Bob will be missed by all who knew him.

Bob is survived by his wife (who was always threatening to throw his ashes down the toilet), Carla; his wandering gypsy of a daughter, Adair; his shadow and son, Cordale; and his princess, daughter, Jenna. Bob's extended grieving family includes his best friend, Russ Cornell and adopted sister, Mary Kautz.

Services will be held privately.

Kirksey Funeral Home of Morganton has the honor of serving the family.
