Lisa Gail Piercy

Lisa Gail Chapman Piercy, age 58, of Valdese, North Carolina passed away on Tuesday, December 3, 2024. Lisa was born August 8, 1966 in Burke county to the late Buford Garman Chapman and the late Brenda Tesseneer Towery.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved sister Sharon Tucker, who she spent time with everyday, an uncle, David Powell, aunts Rita Hicks and Martha Chapman.

Lisa was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Lisa loved spending time with her dogs, and enjoyed playing bingo and trips to Myrtle Beach with her family.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Harold Gene Piercy of the home, her son DJ Fields and wife Namcevily of Valdese, her step-son Prevan Gurley, her grandchildren Lucy and Lyra, her uncles Dean Tesseneer, Trigger Chapman, Dick Chapman all of Morganton, and cousins Debbie Hallyburton of Morganton and Mike Pruett of Morganton.

The family will receive friends for one hour, from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Kirksey Funeral Home. Burial will follow the receiving at Burke Memorial Park.
