He was born to the late Clevie H. Blankenship and Elizabeth Norman Murphy.
Jimmy was loving man who loved his family and friends.
In addition to his parents, Jimmy was preceded in death by a sister Mary Sue White, and nieces Shela and Kristy White.
Those surviving are his children Jeff Blankenship (Melissa), Tommy Blankenship, Crystal Pittman (Eric), Jimmy Danner, and Tabitha Wilson (Chad), also surviving are seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild.
A memorial service will held Thursday, February 03, 2022 at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home of Morganton.
