Annie "Loraine" Williams, age 75, of Morganton, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 13, 2023. Loraine was born the daughter of the late Charles William Allman and Sarah Frances Hoyle Allman on October 31, 1947 in Cleveland County, NC.
Loraine was of the Baptist faith and had retired from the Western Carolina Center after many years of service. She was a graduate of Oak Hill High School. Loraine was a kind and generous person. Loraine loved her family and friends. She will be missed.
Those left behind to cherish Loraine's memory include her beloved husband of 54 years, David Ray Williams of the home; a son David Brian Williams of Greensboro; and two sisters, Betty Jordan and Christine Mace and her husband A.D., all of Morganton. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
A graveside funeral service will be held at 2:30 pm on Thursday, February 16, 2023 at Burke Memorial Park with Pastor Rocky Reece officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 pm at the Kirksey Funeral Home.
