A visitation for Zackery will be held Saturday, April 20, 2024 from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Jones Funeral Home, 715 Sixth Street, Morgan City, LA 70380.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his wife of 57 years, Mildred Leona Watson Bennett of Patterson, Louisiana; three sons, Zackery (Mona Faye) Bennett, Jr. of Atlanta, Georgia, Michael Bennett and Christopher Bennett, both of Patterson, Louisiana; and a daughter, Pamela Marie Francis of Patterson, Louisiana; five brothers, William Bennett, Isaiah Bennett, Johnny Bennett, Benjamin Bennett, and James Bennett, all of Gibson, Louisiana; two sisters, Mary Bennett and Dorothy Bennett, both of Patterson, Louisiana, a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, family and friends.
Zackery was preceded in death by his parents, Isaiah Bennett and Anna Bell Batiste Bennett; two brothers, Eugene Bennett and Frank Bennett; two sisters, Anna Bell Bennett and Mahalia Watts, and a son, Donald Ray Bennett.
