Vaughn Joseph Bourque, a lifelong resident of Morgan City passed away on Sunday, January 8, 2017 at the age of 50. Vaughn loved being outdoors. He love to hunt but his true passion was fishing. If he could not be in the boat catching bass or perch you could always find him at the boat landing or on a wharf trying to catch catfish.
Vaughn leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Betty Bourque; his brother, Myron Bourque and his wife, Beth; his sister, Kelly Vaughn and her husband, Travis; his godson and nephew, Brooks Bourque and his wife, Meagan; nephew, Trevor Vaughn; a goddaughter and niece, Alexis Vaughn and a great nephew and great niece, Brodi and Gracie Bourque .
He joined in heaven his father, Oscar "Frenchie" Bourque Jr. and his paternal and maternal grandparents, Oscar Bourque Sr., Theresa Bourque, Joe Borel and Amelia Borel.
The family requests that a time of visitation and remembrance be observed on Thursday, January 12, 2017 from 9am until time of service at 11am at Hargrave Funeral Home.
