Sandra L Bowden

Sandra L. Bowden, a native of Morgan City and a longtime resident of Patterson, passed away peacefully in her sleep & went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 22, 2024 at the age of 80.

Sandra was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who cherished her family deeply. Her generous spirit extended to both loved ones and friends alike. A passionate seamstress, she found joy in sewing and quilting. Known for always having a cold Coke by her side, she loved to unwind by watching TV, especially western. Her favorites included Audie Murphy who was her cowboy crush.

Those left to cherish Sandra's beautiful memory is her son, Sam Budd; her grandchildren, Christy Smith and husband, Corey, John Paul Myers and wife, Kristina, Ryan Budd, Tristan Budd, Logan Budd, and granddaughter, Lauren Budd. She was also survived by 10 beautiful great grandchildren.

She joined in heaven her husband, Bill Bowden; her son, Hershel Budd, her daughter, Lucinda Frentz; her parents, Leander and Lucille Lenorman; her grandson, Dareen Blanco; and her siblings, Linda, Joanne, and Mike.

A time of visitation and remembrance will be observed on Tuesday, October 29th, 2024 from 11:30 am until time of services at 12:30 at Hargrave Funeral Home. Following services, Sandra will be laid to rest in the Patterson Protestant Cemetery in Patterson.

Pallbearers will be Sam Budd, Ryan Budd, John Paul Myers, Corey Smith, Kayden and Kaleb.
