John Hunter was utmost a lover of the Creator, Jehovah and his son Jesus Christ. He showed his love of friends and family with a compassionate nature. He was trustworthy and a keeper of confidential matters.

His love of friends crossed all boundaries, especially racial. He was the proverbial "shade" in a desert of personal problems or issues. His counsel was very much valued and he will be truly missed. 

My sympathies and condolences are sincerely given to his family and remaining known friends.

How well I remember John when he first arrived here in Morgan City in the late 1950's. John has always been a kind and gentle person. He was a fine example of a humble person. Jan and I spent many hours together in rural territories through the years with him and Ann. Looking forward to the new system, where we'll 
be able to talk old times again.

Cousin John a gentle kind friend, dededicated in service to Jehova. His life greatly impacted my walk on this earth. I will miss his consistent service to those  of us left behind. 

Will miss you John, enjoyed having you as a brother-in-law for over 60 years.  Will cherish fond memories of having ya’ll over for crawfish and crab boils and other family functions. You are now at rest and peace. Will always have loving memories.

We have fond memories of John. We always enjoyed our deep conversations with him. He was a fountain of knowledge and always thoughtful and kind.
Looking forward to seeing John in the resurrection!
