Deborah Debbie Berger

January 21, 1962 ~ October 7, 2011

Debbie Berger a resident of Berwick, born January 21, 1962 in Morgan City, La., went home to her heavenly home Friday October 7, 2011 in Morgan City, at the age of 49.

Debbie was Catholic by faith and even on vacation, she and her family would put in the schedule to attend Mass. She enjoyed traveling and she loved to dance. Debbie was a wonderful wife an amazing mother she did all she could the show her family how much she loved them.

Debbie is survived by her husband of 30 years, Jerry Berger Jr. of Berwick; her mother Frances Bonner of Houma; her son Shayne Berger of Berwick; her two daughters Sara Berger Gierman and her husband, Rob of, Patterson, and Marci Berger of Natchitoches and her sister Pam Vidos of Morgan City. She is also survived by her grandsons, Jackson and Connor Gierman.

Debbie was preceded in death by her father Donald C. Bonner, her brother Donald P. Bonner, sister Karen Bonner Womack, and daughter Jessica Marie Berger.

A time of remembrance and refection will be observed Wednesday October 12, 2011 in the Hargrave Funeral Home Chapel from 4 pm to 10 pm, with a Rosary service at 7:30 pm. Visitation will resume Thursday October 13, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 8 am until 10 am.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held Thursday, October 13th at 10am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morgan City with graveside services following in the Berwick Mausoleum.
