Lisa Ann Rodriguez

It is with great sadness that we as a family announce our beloved Lisa Ann Rodriguez peacefully gained her wings on February 6th, 2024 surrounded by family and loved ones. She was born on November 22, 1961, daughter to Alicia Hernandez and Salvador Campos Gonzales, oldest sibling to pre-deceased Baby Eddie and Salvador “Crispy”, now leaving behind siblings Connie “Twinkie”, Joey, Tony “Coness”. Loving mother to 7 children: Edward, Paul Jr., Jacob, Heather, Aaron, Matthew, and Hannah along with 27 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Devoted wife of 46 years to husband Paul Rodriguez.

Our beloved mother spent most of her youth residing in a small unified community, in Riverside, known as Casa Blanca. Her childhood was a diligent one, filled with laughter and love, and constant interactions with her cousins and close friends. Independence and the pursuit to achieve personal growth was something that she always strived for, even to the point where she learned to drive at the age of thirteen. This pursuit was a defining characteristic of our mother, she excelled in school and graduated from Arlington High. She then went on to college, to study cosmetology and law. Thereafter, she decided to pursue the latter and hone her skills in family law. She was a Paralegal for 35 years, and graced her community with assistance and legal services.

A significant aspect of her life was being a devoted Christian, attending church was a passion of hers. She was a member of Presence of The Lord and Victory Outreach churches. Momma always looked to the Lord for guidance in everything. Our mother was the glue that held the family together, and always reminded everyone to turn to God, no matter how difficult the circumstance. Eternally grateful, she never stopped praising God through all her blessings.

We all share fond memories through her to be carried on by her “baboon love”. Her grand babies will never forget her chocolate loving antics with a quick slip of a candy during a church service. Her signature love for all things purple, makeup done, nails did, and hair on point; Lisnoti was quite prissy and always knew what she wanted. She was never afraid to be stern and always showed her love through a quick jab to the arm and a little discipline. We will continue to carry out her traditions with her thanksgiving stuffing, cheeseburger pie, Salazar special, and her love for sweets. Thank you for a lifetime of memories that will be carried on through generations. We love you “mama”, “Leela”, “Lisnoti”, “Boots”, “Grandma Lisa”, Sister, Auntie, Daughter, cousin and wife, you will forever be in our hearts.
