James Arthur Manley

James Manley was born December 26, 1943 in Enfield, North Carolina to the late Wade and Corine Manley.

A Time to Die

At the age of 79 he peacefully departed this life and entered into eternal rest on June 21, 2023.

A Time to Sow

Jim moved to California in 1981. He was in the meat cutting industry for 45 years with various grocery stores. Jim had a great sense of humor and loved and cared for his family and friends. One of his favorite past times was sitting outside and talking to neighbors and people passing by. He enjoyed cooking and made a mean prime rib at Christmas. Another favorite past time was laughing with the guys at the donut shop every morning. He loved spending a lot of time on the phone talking to family and friends and also playing spades and the horse racing game.

A Time To Embrace

Remaining to cherish his memories is his loving and devoted wife of 38 years, Marsha Manley, his loved children Pam, Lamont, Crystal, and Kevin, grandchildren, and a host of family members and friends.

With sincere gratitude, we thank each of you who expressed love and concern during this time. We appreciate all the acts of kindness, words of comfort and prayers that you have extended to, and for us. May God bless each of you.
