Jake Donovan O'Connor

Jake Donovan O’Connor, a resident of Cortlandt Manor, passed away on July 14, 2023. He was 39. Jake was born on November 21, 1983 in Mount Kisco, NY to Donald Thomas O’Connor and Deborah Ann (Travis) Campanaro. From his very first breath, he beat the odds stacked against him for over 39 years. His smile touched everyone he came into contact with. His strength, determination, and resilience was profound. When you met Jake you were instantly humbled and taught to be thankful.

The family would like to send a sincere thank you to the many doctors, therapists, and of course his dedicated nursing staff for providing the best care and loving him the way that they did.

He is survived by his mother Deborah Campanaro and husband Paul Campanaro, father Donald O’Connor, his uncle Daniel O’Connor and grandmother Lillian Friedman. Siblings Thomas, Jacqueline, and Travis and his wife Dina. Nieces and nephews Braden, Addyson, and Bella.

Predeceased by Grandfather and Maternal Grandmother‘s Wiley and Adair Travis and Alice Travis. Paternal Grandfather Thomas O’Connor and his Uncle David Travis.

Visitation is scheduled for Thursday, July 20 from 4-8pm at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Road, Montrose, NY 10548. Interment will be private.
