Arnold J. Elser Jr.

Arnold J. Elser, Jr. of Croton on Hudson, NY passed away on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at the age of 82. He was born to Arnold J. and Ann (Malacowski) Elser, Sr. on June 21, 1937 in the Bronx, NY. Arnold married Judith (Pazolt) on September 27, 1958. They were married for 60 years. He served honorably in the National Guard for 8 years from 1955 to 1963. Arnold served on the hospital board at Phelps Memorial Hospital and also at Hudson Valley Hospital for 25 Years. He was owner of Elser & Aucone Advertising Agency in Manhattan, NY.

Arnold is survived by his beloved wife Judith Elser, loving children Christopher Elser (Stephanie), Stephen Elser (Gilda), and Carol Ann Salis, and by cherished grandchildren Brian (Sarah), Samantha, Daniel, Douglas, James, Drew, Christopher Jr., Thomas, Jack, Nicholas, Bobby, Michael, Kevin, and Wesley (Victoria), great grandchildren Wesley, Jr., and Edith, by his mother-in-law Sophie Pazolt, and by his sister-in-law Pauline Elser. He was predeceased by both parents, his father-in-law John Pazolt, and by his brother Robert Elser.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 from 3-7pm at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Rd., Montrose, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Monday, September 9, 2019 at St. Christopher Church, Buchanan, NY. Burial will follow at Assumption Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor, NY.
