Robert grew up and lived his entire life in Montreal. He was born with a major heart defect but despite all odds, Robert went on to live a long life, for which he was always grateful. Robert was a gifted artist and a great storyteller. He loved his church family, Onward Gospel Church in Verdun and was a faithful servant of God. Robert will be well remembered for his gentle, humble and loving ways he displayed to all.
Robert leaves behind his two daughters, Linda and Karin, their children and grandchildren, his three siblings, Linda, Wayne and Ken, their children and grandchildren and his longtime friend Claire Jones. He will be missed by his family, church family and many friends.
Robert loved to learn the scriptures and studied daily. His favorite bible verse was John 3:16 – “For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life.”
A service to honor his life will be held on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home, 5610 Sherbrooke St West, Montreal, QC H4A1W5. Visitation will be from 1:30 – 2:30pm. Chapel Service from 2:30 – 3:30pm followed by a reception.
