1936-2016
René Hannus passed away on December 10th at the Royal Victoria - McGill University Health Center at the age of 80. He was the spouse of the late Maryse Sèvremont. He will be missed by his eight children: Marie-Dominique, Nancy (Robert), Patrick, Alain, Marie-Noëlle, Francis (Anna Maria), Gilles, Marc (Claudine),his fiftheen grandchildren: Christopher, Josiane, Matthew, Michael, Timothy, Kassandra, Alexandre, Bianca, Juliano, Gabriel, Amanda, Sabrina, Dahlia, Justin and Lucas, and his great grandchild; Emmanuel, his three brothers and three sisters, nephews and nieces and many other family and friends.
Family will receive condolences on Thursday, December 15 from 3 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm. A funeral service will take place on Friday at 10:30 thence to the burial at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges cemetery.
The family wants to thank the staff at the Royal Victoria- Glenn Hospital for their good care.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Cancer Research Society.
