Maria Teresa Palucci (Nee Santache)

Predeceased by her dear husband, Antonio Palucci, beloved and cherished mother of Gabriella (Dominic) and Giacomo (Antonietta). Devoted and adored grandmother to Alexandra (Taylor), Anthony (Amanda), Antonio and Juliana, and cherished great-grandmother to baby Marco.

Beloved daughter of the late Assunta Albanesi and Nazzareno Santache. Cherished sister of the late Giulia and the late Sabatino. She leaves behind her sister-in-law Elma, a nephew, nieces, their families, and many cousins.

She had many friends both in Canada, Italy and Florida, but a special thank you goes to her dear and lifelong friend, Vincenza, who supported her through the years.

A big thank you to her many neighbours with whom she developed friendships throughout the years. A very special thank you to her caregivers, Anna and Luz, who cared for her with devotion and compassion, and who always managed to bring a smile to her face.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to her wonderful medical team, Dr. Sacks, Dr. Tsoukas and Dr. Haichin for their exceptional care and support. We also extend our gratitude to the staff of the CLSC Benny Farm, in particular Anna Maria Garzon, May and Sarah, whose kindness and care meant so much to our mom.

A visitation will be held on Friday, December 20, 2024 from 2pm to 5pm and 7pm to 9pm. Followed by a funeral mass on Saturday, December 21, 2024 at 11am at Saint Ignatius of Loyola Catholic Church, located at 4455 Rue West Broadway, Montréal, QC H4B 2A7, Canada.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Montreal Children’s Hospital Foundation or the Research Centre of the MUHC, which were dear to her heart.
