Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Monique (Benjamin Kinder) et Paul (Myeong Seo Lafontaine), ses petits-enfants Matthieu, Nicholas, Patricia et Sophie, ses arrière-petits-enfants, Amina, Charlotte, Victor et Rafael, ainsi qu’Evelyn Kemp et de nombreux parents et amis.

Marguerite Lafontaine passed away on December 22, 2022 at the age of 98. Her husband, Bernard Lafontaine, predeceased her. She was the daughter of the late Louise Lortie and the late Ovide Montpetit.

She will be fondly remembered by her children Monique (Benjamin Kinder) and Paul (Myeong Seo Lafontaine), her grand-children Matthieu, Nicholas, Patricia, and Sophie, and her great-grand-children, Amina, Charlotte, Victor, and Rafael, as well as Evelyn Kemp and numerous relatives and friends.

There will be a celebration of his life during which the family will receive condolences at the Centre funéraire Côte-des-Neiges 4525, ch. de la Côte-des-Neiges Montréal, 514-342-8000 on Saturday, January 28 from 1 to 4 p.m.
