He was predeceased in death by his brothers Giovanni(Guglielmina), Nicola(Giuseppina), Benito, Antonio, his brother in-laws Constantino, Felice, Luigi, Antonio, his sister in-law Maria, his nephew Felice and his beloved son George.
Amodio will be lovingly remembered and dearly missed by his brother Michele (Giuseppina) / His sisters Luisa (Ildo), Giulietta and his sisters in-law Julia, Lucia, Peppina, Pia, Valeria(Felice), and is adored by his nieces and nephews.
Amodio will be lovingly remembered and greatly missed by Rosaria, his beloved wife of 61 years; his son Felice(Teresa). His grandchildren, Jessica(Andrew) and great grandson Zaccheo and Veronica(Jason).
Amodio was born on September 16th, 1934 in Ururi, Molise, Italy. Amodio immigrated to this lovely country with the intention of working hard and always supporting his family whenever he could. He was the owner of two business (Bakery and Furniture store). He quickly learned to bake freshly baked goods, but his first love was selling furniture. He was hard working and always put his family first.
He had a zest for life and felt most comfortable with his immediate family and was famous for his sense of humor and practical jokes. He was a social person and was not afraid to strike a conversation with anyone. He was courageous to start a new life in Montreal and never looked back. He was a loving husband, father, father-in-law, grandfather, friend! May he rest in peace and watch over those whom he loved so much, his family, his friends.
A private service will be held on September 23, 2022, followed by the burial at Mausolée La Piétà, Notre-Dame-Des-Neiges Cemetery.
