William Guy Ford

William (Bill) Guy Ford, age 65, of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2024. Born to Guy and Elizabeth, Bill touched many lives while living in the Montgomery area. He was well known for his talented work as a plumber and handyman, and for his business, Country Plumbing. A little league baseball coach, he was very involved in the lives of his sons. An Alabama football fan and an Atlanta Braves fan, Bill enjoyed sports (even NASCAR) and fishing. Bill liked to cook but had a taste for big breakfasts, great coffee, and a good steak. Those close to him say he is already greatly missed.

Preceded in death by his parents, Guy Ford and Elizabeth Wolfe, he is survived by his sons, Brad (Taylor) Ford and Matt Ford; and his siblings, Mike (Shay) Ford and Anne (Vann) Watkins ; and other loved ones, including Carla McLean, Diana Ford-Smith, and Kathryn Coleman.

A Friends and Family Visitation for William will be held Thursday, July 18, at 1 p.m. at Leak Memory Chapel at 945 Lincoln Road in Montgomery, followed by a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 2 p.m. Online condolences may be shared at www.Leak-MC.com.
