Timothy Lewis Johnson, 53, of Montgomery, Alabama died peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family and friends on February 17, 2012 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Bonnie, one son Chad Lewis Johnson, one daughter Jennifer (Danny) Cannon, one sister Donna Sanders of Prattville, one brother Randy Johnson of Millbrook, two nieces Shauntea Webb, Brittanie Gamel, five great nieces, several aunts, uncles, cousins, Chris Judy (Bonnie’s son) and his special companion pet J.J. He is preceded in death by his parents George “Tommy” Johnson, Jr. and Mary “Tootsie” Snyder. A visitation and reception will be held at White Chapel Funeral Home on Monday, February 20, 2012 from 5pm to 7pm. A funeral service will be held at White Chapel Funeral home on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at 10am with burial to follow at Big Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Billingsley, Alabama. Our family wishes to express our thanks and gratitude to the doctors and staff at UAB Hospital along with the staff at Southern Care. A special thanks to the angels that got him through this. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society in his honor.
