Stephen Horace Patterson, age 69 of Wetumpka, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2019. He was born in Andalusia, AL on April 14, 1950 to Horace Olan and Alice Rebecca Patterson. Steve married Anita on February 14, 1980.
Steve worked for John Lee Paint in sales and customer service for many years. He was a member of Capitol Heights Baptist Church and loved Auburn Football and NASCAR.
Steve is preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Becky Wojtowicz; his brother, David Patterson, and his granddaughter, Ansley Stone. He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Anita Patterson; his two sons, Monte Stone and his wife Janette, and Keith Stone and his wife Traci; his four grandchildren, Madeline, Maegan, Blake, and Ben Stone; his brothers, Jimmy and Mark Patterson; his nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 23, 2019 at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home from 10:00 to 11:00 AM with a celebration of life service beginning at 11:00 AM.
