Samuel Thomas Wilson

Samuel Thomas Wilson, 92, a Louisiana native and resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Tuesday, September 5, 2023. Sam was preceded in death by his parents, Mary and Bernard Peter Wilson, and his loving wife of 60 years, Jean Kyzar Wilson. He is survived by his longtime partner, Patricia Campbell of Montgomery, AL.; brother, Robert Wilson of New Orleans, LA, three daughters: Mary Telander (David) of Burlington, NC, Elizabeth Leipert (Jayson) of Pinson, AL, Donna Trumble (Wesley) of Ashville, AL, and two sons: Mike Wilson (Julie) of Tallahassee, FL, Sam Wilson (Kathy, deceased) of Collierville, TN; nine grandchildren: Andrew and Evan Wilson, Tom, Chris, Sarah, Kaitlyn and Ben Wilson, Kristie Trumble Larimer, and Josh Trumble, and five great-grandchildren: Emma, Lily, Sara, Sadie and Charlie

Sam proudly served his country in the US Navy. He was a Contractor, Draftsman, and Engineering Associate. He never met a stranger and considered his work family an important part of his life. Sam was an avid lifelong learner, who studied Math for fun. He loved his family and time at home with Pat.

A Funeral Mass will be said on Saturday, September 16th at 2:00 pm at the Holy Spirit Catholic Parish, 8570 Vaughn Road, Montgomery, AL, 36117.
