Robert V Mullen III

Robert V Mullen III, (Bob) age 73, of Montgomery, Alabama was called home on Wednesday February 7, 2018 following a brief battle with cancer. Robert was born December 25, 1944 to Ruth Mullen and Robert V. Mullen Jr.

Robert is survived by his sons: Scott Mullen and Matt Mullen; a daughter-in-law: Amee Mullen; his brothers: Mike Mullen and David Mullen; a sister-in-law: Mikiyo Mullen; and a grandson: Travis Mullen.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents.

A self-employed businessman, Bob was known as an architect who worked on commercial projects within the Montgomery area. He was active in the Boy Scouts as was his dad. Both became eagle scouts and Bob's son, Scott followed in that tradition. A long time member of Ridgecrest Baptist church, Mr. Mullen attended as long as his health would allow. The friends and family would like to thank Amedisys Hospice, Cecilia Strickland and Betty McGaughy for their vigilant care in his last days.

A visitation for Robert will be held Saturday, February 17, 2018 at 12:00 pm at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109. After visitation, A Celebration of Life is scheduled at 1:00 pm. Mr. Mullen's burial is set to follow the Celebration of Life in Greenwood Serenity cemetery. Dr. Gary Blair of Ridgecrest Baptist Church officiating.
