Peggy Joyce Jones

Peggy Joyce Jones, age 74, of Centerville, Georgia passed away on Thursday, November 4, 2021. Peggy was born May 5, 1947 in Alex City, AL to Zeb Stroud and Ethel Caldwell Stroud. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother Donald Stroud and her son Allan Pirtle. She is survived by her husband Walter Reed Jones; her children Stephanie (Don) Higgins, Lynda (Tom) Garcia; her grandchildren Magen (Jeremy) Cramer, Noel Warren, Ashleigh Fail, Kayla Ruth, Scott and Jacob Garcia; and 6 great grandchildren as well as nieces and nephews all to cherish her memory.

From Gatlinburg to Gettysburg, she enjoyed the mountains and the change of seasons there. From flea markets to arts & craft shows, she shopped for others with a great passion. Peggy delighted in everything Disney but more than anything she cherished her children and grandchildren.

A celebration of life visitation for Peggy will be held Monday, November 15, 2021 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109, followed by a celebration of life chapel service at 2:00 PM.
