Nancy Turk Sansom

Nancy Turk Sansom, age 95, of Franklin, TN went home to be with the Lord on Friday, October 18, 2024. A graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery on December 8, 2024 (her 96th birthday). Dr. Teman Knight will be officiating. Mrs. Sansom is preceded in death by her husband, Albert E. Sansom. Survivors include her daughter, Deborah (Debby) Sansom Perry and husband Steve, Franklin, TN; son, Albert (Bert) E. Sansom, Jr, and wife Coni, North Augusta, SC; grandchildren, Holly W. Lloyd and husband, Matt, Thompson Station, TN, Thomas Adam Wilkinson and wife, Hunter, Nashville, TN; Elizabeth Willimon and husband, Will, Athens, GA; great grandchildren Gage Lloyd, Grey Lloyd, Parker Willimon, Grace Willimon, and Emerson Wilkinson. Mrs. Sansom was a member of Heritage Baptist Church prior her move to Franklin, TN in 2016. She graduated from Sidney Lanier High School in 1947 and attended the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa. Mrs. Sansom was employed by the U.S. Department of the Army and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) before her retirement in 1990. A graveside memorial service for Nancy will be held Sunday, December 8, 2024 at 2:00 PM at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens, 909 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109.
