Nancy Bertha Allen

Ms. Allen was a native of Montgomery, AL, a 1948 Sidney Lanier High School graduate. She was a dedicated member of Normandale UMC and since 1998 Whitfield UMC. She was a faithful church worker, spreading love and smiles to anyone she met.

Nancy retired March 2, 1993 from Prudential Insurance Company as Office Manager after 32 years.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents, Charles Earl and Addie Jane (Spivey) Walls; her sister Norma Jane Eagerton; nephew Sonny Eagerton; her niece Careen Fordham; and her grandparents Tom and Norma Spivey and Van and Bertha Walls.

She is survived by her children, daughter Vicki A. Long and husband Jerry of McCalla, AL and son Stephen R. Allen and wife Linda of Montgomery, AL; her granddaughters Amanda E. Johns and husband Daniel of Wetumpka, AL and Rachel A. Hoover and husband Jake of Dadeville, AL; her grandsons, H. Raymond Evans IV and wife Jessica of Cummings, GA and Jacob R. Allen of Fairbanks, AK and Trey Long of McCalla, AL; her sister Edna W. Eagerton of Hope Hull, AL; her nieces Cheryl E. Cardwell and husband Steve and Cathy E. Walker and husband Kenny; her great nephew David Walker and wife Cristina ; and five great grandsons, Sawyer and Ripley, and Quinn and Hampton, and Andrew.

A friends and family visitation for Nancy will be held Monday, December 23, 2024 at 1:00 PM at Whitfield United Methodist Church, 2673 Fisk Rd, Montgomery, AL 36111, followed by a celebration of life church service at 2:00 PM.
