Myrtle Davis

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. from Leak Memory Chapel with Brother Tommy Fike officiating. Burial to follow at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens. Immediate family only will gather at 8:30 a.m. The family then will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Ms. Davis was preceded in death by her parents Ross Smith Sr. and Katie Bell Mauldin-Smith; son, Donald E. Free; grandson, Charles F. Free; brother, Ross Smith Jr.; and sister, Sarah C. Ganous.

She is survived by her sons, Jimmy (Debbie) Free and Scott (Connie) Davis; nine grandchildren, Amanda Free-McDonald, David (Jessica) Free, Kayla (Jeremy) Pfeil, Katie Free, Courtney (Alan) King, Christopher Davis, Amber Davis, Eric (Holly) Culpepper and April (Kenneth) Bowden; thirteen great-grand children, James McDonald, Sarah McDonald, Braxton McDonald, Maci McDonald, Christopher Free, Charlee Pfeil, Kendall King, Aiden Jackson, Hayley King, Jaiden Wooley, London Culpepper, Liam Culpepper and Kinley Bowden; extended family and many friends.

She loved gardening, dogs, making floral arrangements and going to the beauty shop to get her hair done. She was a member of Dalraida Baptist Church
