Mike Hollenbeck, age 55 passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2017. Mike was a CRNA at Jackson Hospital through Montgomery Anesthesia Associates for 24 years. He graduated from Northview High School in Dothan, Alabama. Mike continued his education earning his Bachelors of Nursing from Troy State University. He then obtained his Masters of Science Nursing from Albany Medical College in Albany, New York. Mike is preceded in death by his father, M. Robert Hollenbeck. Out of all of Mike’s accomplishments, he was most proud of his two daughters, Nina Hollenbeck and Melody Hollenbeck. Mike is survived by his mother, Catherine S. Brice; his brothers, Martin Hollenbeck, David Hollenbeck, Thomas Hollenbeck (Mary Ann), Joseph Hollenbeck (Tessa), James Hollenbeck, and Stephen Hollenbeck (Nancy); numerous nieces and nephews; and his special friend, Kristin Vickery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 3:00 pm at Alabama Heritage on Sunday, July 23, 2017. A Celebration of Mike’s Life will begin at 3:00 pm.
