Mary Ann Wells

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Joseph James Wells, son Joseph Lance Wells, and grandson Joseph Warren Wells.

She is survived by her sister Charlotte Mozingo Reeder of Montgomery , Al, daughters Sandra Wells Hammock(Ray)of Fairhope , Al., Cynthia Wells Waldrop ( David) of Houston Tx., Jennifer Wells Burdick(Dan) of Pelham Al., and daughter in law Faye Searcy Wells of Montgomery , Al. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren.

Memi, as she was affectionately known, graduated from Isabella High School. She worked most of her career as the Executive Assistant to the Trainmaster of CSX Railroad in Montgomery, Al

As a life long Southern Baptist, she was a devoted and active member of Dalraida Baptist Church and Eastern Hills Baptist Church in Montgomery.

Her family knows she is “so happy” and in the presence of God today.

A private family graveside service will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 in Greenwood Cemetery. A public Memorial service will be Saturday, July 9, 2022 at Leak Memory Chapel at 2:00 pm. Visitation will be one hour prior to service.

In lieu of flowers, any memorials should be given to the Alabama Baptist Childrens Home in Birmingham, Al . (alabamachild.org)
