Mary Vic Griffin Lindsey passed away on September, 5, 2021 at 82 years of age. Mary was born in Troy, AL to Fred and Pearl Griffin on February 22, 1939 and was little sister to three older brothers. She married Leon Lindsey on November 22, 1963 at Cleveland Avenue Church of Christ in Montgomery, AL. Mary and Leon made their home in Montgomery where they raised their only son, Roy.
Mary is survived by her son, Roy Lindsey (Tammy), her grandchildren, Madison and Jasmine, and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Leon Lindsey, her brothers, Hollis Griffin, Lloyd Griffin, and Kenneth Griffin, and nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be Saturday, Sept. 11 at 1:30 p.m. with the service following at 2:30 p.m. at Leak Memory Chapel. We will then adjourn to Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens for the graveside service.
