A Graveside Service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery with Bro. Jackie Bryant officiating on Tuesday, August 15 at 2:00pm. Friends and Family Visitation will be held one hour prior at Leak Memory Chapel.
Mrs. Adams was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Thomas Adams; parents, Walter A. and Audie Sasser Morgan; one brother, Stafford Morgan, and four sisters, Shuna Morgan, Minnie Rae Taylor, Merle Rayborn, and Frances M. Brooks. She is survived by two children, Beth Kuykendall (Homer), and Jack Thomas Adams, Jr. (Stephanie); two grandchildren, Taylor Bartlett (Julia), and Anna Adams; one great grandchild Jude Bartlett.
Mrs. Adams accepted Christ at the age of 16 and was baptized at the First Baptist Church of Brantley. Her faith and love for the Lord from the beginning was a significant part of her life. She was a faithful member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church for 71 years. Her love for family, friends, missions and service to others was evident in her life. She had a servant's heart and a genuine love for people. WMU Director at RBC for over 10 years, worked in the furniture industry for over 45 years, an avid reader, and an active member of RBC for 67 years.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Ridgecrest Baptist Church Flower Fund.
Active pallbearers will be Billy Rayborn, Tony Sims, Billy Holmes, Tyson Thompson, Dan Jones, and Tommy Ratliffe. Honorary pallbearer will be Joseph Taylor.
