Mark Braswell Harris, age 68, passed away on Sept 5, 2023 after an extended illness. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Barbara (Bobbie) Harris, his sons Jeff Harris (Kelly), John Harris (Lauren); sister Susan Harris Staker (Dan). He dearly loved his three grandchildren, Elliott Harris, Hill and Lottie Harris.
Mark was born April 19,1955 in Montgomery, AL to Dan Carr and Corlyn Braswell Harris. He attended Jeff Davis School and Auburn University. First Baptist Church was his church home for 45 years. Mark will be remembered for his love of God, family and friends, not to mention hunting, fishing, golf and Auburn football. He will truly be missed by his constant canine companions, Buddy and Scooter.
Visitation is set for Friday September8, 2023 at Leak Memory Chapel 12:30-2:00 PM. The Graveside Service will be at 2:00PM at Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to First Baptist Church Montgomery or one’s favorite charity.
