Betty was an adoring wife to Marshall for 58 years until his death in 2023. She is survived by her children Buddy Green (Karen), Melinda Norris, Stephanie Boyd, and Jennifer Green; grandchildren Kathryn Hagan (Lane), Hannah Wyatt (Whitney), William Green (Mallory), Daniel Faulkner, Elizabeth Boyd, and Emilyn Boyd; and great-grandchildren, Libby, Drew, Grace and Ann Curtis Hagan; Will, Caroline, and John Green; and Miles Wyatt.
After retirement, Marshall and Betty traveled the country in their RV, eventually finding community in the mountains of Colorado. Betty loved the Lord with all her heart, and he blessed her with many creative talents. From art to cooking, she could do it all. She was an avid seamstress and enjoyed making beautiful quilts for everyone in the family, and they will be cherished for years to come. Her kindness, warmth, and unwavering faith in Christ touched the lives of many and she will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Bethany House in Auburn for their compassionate end-of-life care.
There will be a graveside service at Greenwood Cemetery on Friday, March 21, 2025 at 10 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Libby’s Friends, a nonprofit started in honor of Betty’s great-granddaughter, which aims to ease the financial burden of living with a disability.
